संतकबीरनगर में जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय पर पेंशनर दिवस के अवसर पर जनपद के समस्त पेंशनरों के साथ कार्यक्रम का आयोजन हुआ। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता जिलाधिकारी प्रेम रंजन सिंह ने की। इस दौरान जिले के सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारी पेंशन एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष सुभाष चंद्र यादव एवं महामंत्री इनामुलाह कुरैशी के द्वारा सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों कि 12 सूत्रीय मांगों को लेकर ज्ञापन देते हुए समस्याओं के निदान की मांग की गई।

यूपी के संतकबीरनगर में एक ऐसा गांव जहां लोगों को अपने घरों तक पहुंचने के लिए रास्ता नहीं स्थिति यह है कि पगडंडी के सहारे लोग अपने घरों को आवागमन करते थे, आजादी के 75 वर्ष बीतने के बावजूद यहां के लोग आज भी रास्ते के लिए तरस रहे थे, जिलाधिकारी प्रेम रंजन सिंह को जब इस बात की जानकारी हुई तो उन्होंने राजस्व विभाग के अधिकारियों की टीम गठित की. टीम ने बूंदीपार गांव में पहुंचकर स्थिति का जायजा लिया, टीम की मुख्य भूमिका अदा कर रहे एसडीएम अजय कुमार त्रिपाठी ने स्वयं टीम के साथ बारीकी से स्थिति को परखा और रास्ते को चिन्हित कर सीमांकन किया गया।
बूंदीपार गांव के हरिजन बस्ती की स्थिति यह थी कि यहां के लोग आपने घरों से निकलना दुर्लभ हो गया था मुख्य सड़क तक पहुंचने के लिए उन्हें भारी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता था इन समस्याओं से भी बड़ी समस्या तब हो जाती थी जब शादी विवाह के साथ ही यदि कोई व्यक्ति बीमार होता था तो उसे अस्पताल ले जाने के लिए उन्हें मुसीबतों का सामना करना पड़ता था इनके घरों तक आराम से साइकिल तक नहीं पहुंच पाती थी, एसडीएम अजय कुमार त्रिपाठी के पहल पर अब रास्ते के लिए जमीन सीमांकन कर ली गई है और उसे साफ सुथरा कराया गया, प्रशासन का कहना है कि जल्द ही परियोजना तैयार कर इंटरलॉकिंग कराने के साथ ही बेहतर सड़क बनाई जाएगी इस कार्य से ग्रामीणों में बेहद खुशी है और प्रशासन को ग्रामीणों ने धन्यवाद भी ज्ञापित किया है। संतकबीरनगर से मिथिलेश कुमार धुरिया की रिपोर्ट।

संतकबीरनगर में दरिंदों ने हैवानियत की हदें पार कर दी। दरअसल दरिंदों ने मिलकर शौच करने गई किशोरी को अगवा कर उसके साथ जबरन दुष्कर्म की घटना को अंजाम दिया। सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर फॉरेंसिक टीम समेत पुलिस के आला अधिकारी पहुंचे जिन्होंने घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण कर आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
कोतवाली खलीलाबाद क्षेत्र के एक गांव में कक्षा नौ की छात्रा देर रात घर में खाना बनाने के दौरान शौच क्रिया के लिए घर के पीछे गई. तभी पहले से घात लगाए बैठे दरिंदों ने किशोरी का मुंह दबाकर घर के कुछ दूरी पर ले गए. जहां उसके साथ दुष्कर्म किया. जैसे तैसे किशोरी जान बचाकर घर पहुंची तो अपने साथ हुई घटना की जानकारी परिजनों को दी परिजनों के द्वारा पुलिस को सूचना दी गई मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने आरोपी अनिल व मोनू को गिरफ्तार कर लिया जिसके बाद पुलिस ने 13 वर्षीय किशोरी को मेडिकल परीक्षण के लिए भेज दिया।
युवती के पिता अरविंद मजदूरी करके अपने बच्चों का पेट पालते हैं। अरविंद के पास 2 बच्चे एक बच्चा है अरविंद की पत्नी पूर्व में ही गुजर गई हैं। किशोरी के पिता अरविंद के पास खेती-बाड़ी ना होने के कारण वह मजदूरी करके अपने बच्चों का पेट भरता है। मंगलवार को मजदूरी करके अरविंद घर पहुंचा था इस दौरान वह मुर्गा लेकर गया था जिसको बनाने के लिए कह कर वह लेटा जिसके बाद उसे नींद लग गई. किशोरी खाना बना के दौरान शौच क्रिया के लिए घर के पीछे गई तभी गांव के ही अनिल और मोनू ने युवती का मुंह दबाकर घर के कुछ दूरी पर ले गए जहां उसके साथ दरिंदगी की. पीड़िता किशोरी की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर आगे की कार्यवाही में पुलिस जुटी हुई है।
