सिल्ली कॉलेज प्रांगण में रविवार को सिल्ली कॉलेज के नए भवन निर्माण का भूमि पूजन पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री सह विधायक सह सिल्ली कॉलेज शासीनिकाय के अध्यक्ष सुदेश कुमार महतो व रांची विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार सह कॉलेज के सचिव डॉ मुकुंद मेहता ने संयुक्त रूप से किया। भूमि पूजन के पश्चात परिसर में आयोजित सभा को संबोधित करते हुए सुदेश कुमार महतो ने कहा कि अब सिल्ली 2024 तक शैक्षणिक हब के रूप के जाना जायेगा। यह भवन विवि का सबसे आधुनिक भवन होगा निर्माण कार्य वर्ष 2024 तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। नए भवन में छात्रों के पठन पाठन तथा अत्याधुनिक लाइब्रेरी तक की समस्या दूर होगी।साथ ही पीजी, बीएड सहित अन्य व्यवसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों की पढ़ाई प्रारंभ हो जाइएगी। सिल्ली कॉलेज का नया परिसर में नए वातावरण में नये अवसर सृजित होंगे। वहीं उन्होंने कहा कि कॉलेज भवन की भव्यता को शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में ऊंचाई तक ले जाने के लिए छात्र-छात्राओं तथा शिक्षकों को इमानदारी पूर्वक मेहनत करनी होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि 40 वर्ष पूर्व जिन्होंने इस कॉलेज की नींव रख कर बेहतर शिक्षण संस्थान की परिकल्पना की थी आज उनकी परिकल्पना साकार होने जा रहा है, जिसे हमें गर्व होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने जमीन दाताओं की सराहना करते हुए आभार व्यक्त किया। कहा कि जमीन दाताओं के सहभागिता के कारण ही इतने बड़े शिक्षण संस्थान की निव रखी जा रही है। व्यक्तित्व के निर्माण के लिए शिक्षा महत्वपूर्ण है। पहले फेज में प्रशासनिक भवन का निर्माण होगा। इस भवन के निर्माण में आसपास के गांव के लोगों की सहभागिता जरूरी है। किसी भी व्यक्ति को किसी प्रकार की आपत्ति हो तो आपस में बैठकर कर मसला को हल किया जाएगा । भवन निर्माण से आसपास के लोगों के लिए रोजगार भी सृजित होंगे। कार्यक्रम से पूर्व अतिथियों का कॉलेज परिवार द्वारा पुष्प गुच्छ देकर स्वागत किया गया ।कार्यक्रम का संचालन सिल्ली इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज के सचिव सुनील सिह, एवं धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रोफेसर नकुल चंद्र महतो ने किया । इस मौके पर मुखिया परीक्षित महली, पसस शर्मिला कुमारी प्राचार्य मुकुंद महतो, हेमंत कुमार सिंह, सावित्री बाला, प्रोफेसर हेमलता, अनंत कुमार महतो, प्रो त्रिभुवन महतो, प्रो नकुल चंद्र महतो, प्रो हरेंद्र नाथ महतो, , मानसिंह महतो, पंचानन महत
