शिमला। हिमाचल सरकार ने लोकतंत्र प्रहरी योजना बंद कर दी है। इसे लेकर सदन में बुधवार को जोरदार हंगामा और सत्तापक्ष व विपक्ष में तीखी नोकझोंक हुई। संसदीय कार्यमंत्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान ने कहा कि सरकारी धन का दुरुपयोग करते हुए RSS और पॉलिटिकल लोगों को लाभ देने के लिए यह योजना शुरू की गई थी। हर्षवर्धन चौहान ने कहा कि इस योजना को बंद करने का सवाल इमरजेंसी को हाइलाइट करने के लिए किया गया, क्योंकि उस दौरान MISA (Maintenance of Internal Security Act) के तहत RSS और पॉलिटिकल लोग जेल गए थे। नेता प्रतिपक्ष जयराम ठाकुर ने इस योजना को बंद करने पर आपत्ति जताई। उन्होंने कहा कि यह योजना 25 जून 1975 में इमरजेंसी के दौरान लोकतंत्र के लिए लड़ रहे उन लोगों के परिवार को सम्मान राशि देने के लिए शुरू की गई थी, जो जेल में गए थे।सीएम सुखविंदर सुक्खू ने कहा कि जब यह बिल आएगा तब वह जवाब देंगे।
