Namaste friends. Our flag represents an idea of India. It is not a mere piece of decoration. The Indian flag represents our rich history, and sacrifice made by our freedom fighters and the spiritual strength of Indians.
Our top band Kesaria shows the strength and courage of the country. The white middle band indicates peace and truth with the Dharm chakra. This Dharm chakra depicts the wheel of the law. The chakra intends to show us that there is life in movement and death in stagnation. The last band is green in colour, showing the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of India and our passion and respect for nature.
I would encourage you to hoist Tiranga at your home and celebrate the 75 years of the free human spirit.
