Private Equity & Venture Capital (PE & VC) today, often dwarfs FII flows and account for lion’s share of FDI flows in the country. The aspiration of PE & VC Industry is for India to get a larger share of funds amongst global destinations in the years to come and becomes an important mode of raising long term capital. The industry wants to partner with Government and regulators to make its eco system more robust. Also, there is a firm belief that this is the right opportunity to create a vibrant domestic PE & VC industry, in line with Atmanirbhar Bharat. The High Level Committee (HLC) created in the last budget should aspire to look into how to do so with a 25 year view.

In this context, CII under the aegis of the CII National Committee on PE & VC would like to organize the 3rd edition of the PE & VC Summit, virtually to discuss and deliberate on the growing importance of the PE & VC sector in creating an Atmanirbhar Bharat and making India a global hub for PEs and VCs with exchange of capital to and from India.

The Session shall be addressed by the Chief Guest for the Summit, Shri Ashwani Bhatia, Whole-time Member, SEBI.
