J&K Academy of Arts Culture and Language Kargil organized Kargil Losar Festival at Dak Banglow Wakha Mulbekh. The Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Mohammad Hussain was the chief guest and Deputy Commissioner Kargil Haji Gulzar Hussain was the guest of honour. Thousands of people from all over Kargil reached Wakha Mulbekh to celebrate the day which is considered as one of the main event to revive the culture. From 8th to 13th September, 113 vehicles have passed from Kinnaur to Losar check post. This included 9 pickups and 104 trucks. At the same time, 71 vehicles of Matar have also passed, which include 33 pick-ups and 38 trucks. According to SDM Harsh Amarendra Negi, petrol and diesel are available in sufficient quantity in Kaza.
