After the collapse of the 100-year-old bridge at Pandoh, a suspension bridge is now being temporarily constructed by the Public Works Department in its place. Its construction work has been started. This suspension bridge will help in the movement of essential goods across the river while one person will be able to walk on it at a time. The government has said that this will be a temporary arrangement and a new bridge will be built in place of the old bridge at Pandoh. But the people of Pandoh and Badar area are apprehensive that once the suspension bridge is built, they will keep swinging on it forever.

Mandi (Himachal) : Now a steel truss bridge will be built in place of the 100-year-old Red Bridge that collapsed due to rain in Pandoh. This bridge will be built three meters higher than its current location and will cost Rs 21 crore. Public Works Department, Thalout Division has prepared its DPR worth Rs 21 crore and sent it to the government. The purpose of the department behind making the bridge three meters higher is that if such a flood ever occurs again in the future, the bridge can be saved from damage. For this, an approach road of 100 meters will also be built on both sides. The department has also conducted its survey.
