There is no arrangement of drains on the said road for water drainage, during rains the water flows on the road and takes the form of a river. At the same time, the land of the villagers is being damaged due to land erosion due to blockage of drains near Dhasoli Naman Dhoop factory. Although the Public Works Department has paved the road last year, but the question is, how long will the road built without drainage system be able to remain in good condition.

Till now 11 roads are closed in 7 divisions under Mandi Circle of Public Works Department. The department has set a target to restore 7 roads for traffic by 30th September while the remaining 4 roads have been set to be restored by 15th October. There has been a loss of Rs 274 crore due to heavy rains in Mandi Circle. 166 roads were closed due to rain, out of which 155 roads have been opened for traffic while 11 roads are still closed. These mainly include Bari Gumanu, Shivabdar and Nalsar roads. The roads here have been so badly damaged due to heavy landslides that it is taking a long time to build them.
