In view of this, social worker Mahesh Sharma has come forward and taken the initiative to feed the people engaged in relief work and the stranded tourists in the midst of the disaster. In this, food arrangements have been made for NDRF people, government employees and those people who are somehow reaching Sainj Bazar for essential goods or medicines, food has also been arranged for them. This system will continue till the roads of the valley are opened and other facilities are not restored.

About ASHI, Haryana:
Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a Voluntary and Social Organization aiming at challenging those conditions that lead to exploitation of women and children for anti-social purposes by providing shelter for Destitute & Orphan children and arranging for their education, vocational training and rehabilitation are one of the Association’s main activities. The Governor of Haryana, their Chief Patron, visits the Home once a year to encourage and bless the children.
