Jawali (Kangra) : Digging of drains done by installing JCB on the roadside of Bajhera village of Panchayat of Jawali Vidhansabha Halke has become a cause of trouble for the villagers. During the heavy rains, the houses of Dhiman Basti are in danger of collapsing due to the flow of water due to digging of drains on one side. Affected villagers said that Public Works Department sub-division Nagrota Suriyan dug a deep drain on the side of the road towards their houses in the dark of night by a contractor using JCB. While they were not even taken into confidence and the drain was dug with JCB only near their houses, due to which water stagnant at one place has become a threat to their homes.
