जगदलपुर छत्तीसगढ़ में एक विशाल जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए श्री राहुल गांधी ने आदिवासी की बात सीधे आदिवासी के साथ की। छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार को आड़े हाथ लेते हुए उन्होंने कहा, ' यहां सरकार सड़क पर चलती है। सड़क पर हमला हुआ, 32 लोग सड़क पर मारे गये। कहां थी सरकार?' उन्होंने महासम्मेलन में मौजूद लोगों से कहा कि ''कांग्रेस पार्टी ने सूचना का अधिकार दिया और आदिवासियों को ट्राईबल बिल दिलवाया, क्योंकि आपकी जमीन आपको मिले। दिल्ली में जो कानून हमने बनवाया है उसके तहत जो आपकी जमीन है छत्तीसगढ़ में वो आपको नहीं दी जा रही है। कांग्रेस पार्टी आएगी तो हम यहां ट्राईबल बिल लागू करेंगे।'' श्री गांधी ने कहा कि ''आदिवासियों की जमीन ली जा रही है। गरीबों का हक देने के लिए जमीन अधिग्रहण बिल हम लाए। जब अमीरों की जमीन ली जाती है तो खरीदी जाती है। मगर जब आदिवासियों की जमीन ली जाती है तो सरकार आर्डर करती है और कहती है भईया लो जमीन लो।
