हरियाणा में जाट आरक्षण आंदोलन के दौरान मुरथल में गैंगरेप हुआ था। इस बात की पुष्टि पंजाब-हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट ने कर दी है। गुरुवार को इस मामले में सुनवाई हुई। इस दौरान कोर्ट ने कहा है कि घटनास्थल से मिले महिलाओं के कपड़े और गवाहों के बयान इस बात की तरफ इशारा करते हैं कि फरवरी 2016 में हुए जाट आरक्षण आंदोलन के दौरान मुरथल में गैंगरेप हुए थे। साथ ही कोर्ट ने पुलिस को भी फटकार लगाई और कहा कि जल्द से जल्द गुनहगारों को गिरफ़्तार किया जाए। वहीं मामले की जांच कर रही एसआईटी को सोनीपत की अदालत में हलफ़नामा दाख़िल कर गैंगरेप की धारा नहीं हटाने को कहा है। दरअसल, हरियाणा सरकार और मामले की जांच के लिए गठित एसआईटी लगातार यह कहती आई है कि मुरथल में कोई गैंगरेप नहीं हुआ, सिर्फ छेड़छाड़ हुई थी।

मुरथल से पराठे खाकर आ रहे युवकों की स्विफ्ट डिजायर कार बेकाबू होकर डिवाइडर तोड़ते हुए हाइवे से नीचे गिरी । कार में चार युवक सवार थे और चारो घायल है । तभी एक राहगीर कार चालक ने अपनी कार रोककर चारो का प्राथमिक उपचार किया राहगीर खुद एक डॉ थे । डॉ ने इंसानियत का फर्ज निभाते हुए कार को रोका और प्राथमिक उपचार कर खून से लथपथ चारो युवकों को अपनी कार में अस्पताल लेकर गए । चारो युवक मुरथल हरियाणा से पराठे खाकर दिल्ली लौट रहे थे । चश्मदीदों की माने तो युवकों ने बीयर पी रखी थी और कार में बीयर की बोतल सीट पर पड़ी है । घटना के तुरन्त बाद राहगीर और आसपास के लोगो ने तुरन्त मदद की चारो बेहोश थे इसलिए इनका पूरा पता लभी तक नही चल पाया है ।
