Swaminathan, economist and the initiator of Anand Milk Union Cooperative Limited (Amul) V. Kurien, founder and head of Infosys Narayanan Murthy, economist and Nobel laureate Amartya Sen, painter Anjolie Ela Menon, social activist and Gandhian Baba Amte, and R. Chidambaram, the chairman of Indian Atomic power commission.
