രജനികാന്ത് ചിത്രം കാലയ്ക്ക് തമിഴ്‌നാട് സർക്കാറിന്റെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. പാ രഞ്ജിത്ത് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രമായതിനാൽ ഭരണകൂടത്തെ അലോസരപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന സംഭാഷണങ്ങൾ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാകാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട് എന്ന് മന്ത്രി ജയകുമാർ പറഞ്ഞു. ജനങ്ങളെ അനാവശ്യമായി പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളിലേക്ക് തള്ളിവിടുന്ന സംഭാഷണങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതിനെ എതിർക്കും എന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. തമിഴ്‌നാടിനും മക്കൾക്കും നല്ലകാലം വരുമെന്നാണ് കാലയുടെ ഓഡിയോ ലോഞ്ചിൽ രജനികാന്ത് പറഞ്ഞ് നിർത്തിയത്. ചിത്രത്തെകുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും കാലയുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം രജനികാന്ത് വേദിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞില്ല. സംവിധായകൻ പാ രഞ്ജിത്തിന് കാലയിലൂടെ സമൂഹത്തോട് പറയാൻ ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടെന്ന് പുറത്തിറക്കിയ പാട്ടുകളിൽ വ്യക്തമാണ്.രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരന്റെ വേഷമണിഞ്ഞശേഷമുള്ള രജനികാന്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ ചിത്രമായതിനാൽ പ്രേക്ഷകരും ആകാംഷയിലാണ്. പുറത്തിറക്കിയ പാട്ടുകളും പ്രേക്ഷകർ ഏറ്റെടുത്തു. എന്നാൽ സമരങ്ങളിലൂടെ നേടാൻ ഒരുപാട് ഉണ്ട് എന്ന ഉള്ളടക്കമുള്ള പാട്ടിനോട് തമിഴ്‌നാട് സർക്കാർ അതൃപ്തി അറിയിച്ചു. ജനങ്ങളെ പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളിലേക്ക് തള്ളിവിടുന്ന സംഭാഷണങ്ങൾ കാലയിലുണ്ടായാൽ അതൊരു രാഷ്ട്രീയവിവാദത്തിന് കാരണമായേക്കാം.
