Tourists coming from India and abroad to see the valleys of Kullu will now be able to go rafting in the waters of Beas. After about two months, the thrill of rafting is starting in the Beas river from 16th September. The technical committee has given approval to start rafting in the river. The technical team examined the track from Pirdi to Jhiri. The technical committee members traveled from Pirdi to Jhiri in three rafts. With the start of rafting, about 5,000 youth will once again get employment. Adventure activities were stopped in the district from July 15 to September 15 due to rain. Now, with the commencement of rafting after two months, the tourism business will gain momentum.
