Talking about the Chhattisgarh Assembly Polls scheduled to take place on November 7 and 17, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Ramdas Athawale on October 27 claimed that BJP would come into power after the election. 'BJP is strong in the state. BJP leader Raman Singh has been the Chief Minister thrice...BJP did not come to power in the last election but now the environment has changed completely and I believe that BJP is strong here and it will come to power,' said Ramdas Athawale. Earlier, on October 09, the Election Commission of India announced the election dates for the five states. Elections will be held in Mizoram on November 7, Chhattisgarh on November 7 and November 17, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 23 and Telangana on November 30. The counting of votes will take place on December 3 in all the states.
