Keeping in mind the monsoon season, the mining department has suspended all mining leases in the river beds of Una district from 1 July to 15 September. Along with this, written orders have also been issued by the department to all stone crusher owners, although the leases given for mining in all the rivers and streams of the district have been canceled with immediate effect. While this order will not be applicable for the hilly areas. It is worth noting that these activities are banned every year by the mining department due to restoration of mining sites.
