Jeedimetla PS and SOT Balanagar Zone nabbed three accused persons Le A1. Yashala Kameshwara rao Vollakanti Raja Mahesh s/o Appaya, r/o Uppal A2. Vemula Pulla Rao s/o Lingaiah, r/o Guntur and A3.Battula Sambesalva rao Vo Koteswara rao, r/o Palnadu, on 19.07.2024 at about 1930 hrs for selling of fake gold coins as original to the Innocent people.

The complainant Korvar Anjali is resident of Tandur village, Vikarabed. A known person Sandhya informed her that one person Mahesh who belongs to AP is selling the gold on lower price and shared his number 9515584641. Accordingly. when she contact him, he called her through Whatsapp call and told her to come Vijaywada if she wants gold, also said that he will sell the gold Rs 10,000/- than market price. Due to long distance she did not went there. Later on 18.07.2024 b/w 0400 to 0500 hours Mahesh called her and informed her that, he was bringing gold to Hyderabad but she should buy at least (half)kg. Then she told to her known persons i.e. Bhanu Rekha Manchini and Prabhavathi about the gold in lower price, and then they too agreed to buy. Then on 19.07.2024 at about 1330 hours Korvar Anjali, Bhanu Rekha Manchini, Prabhavathi, goldsmith Praveen and Basava s/o Prabhavathi came to Shapur nagar, Jeedimetla. At about 1500 hours Korvar Anjali got a call from Mahesh and he told her to send male persons to Shubham Hotel, Room No 306 along with money, accordingly Praveen and Basava went to the said room along with money. After a while Mahesh messaged K. Anjali to come to room, then she too went to said room along with Bhanu Rekha and Prabhavathi. They found more two persons along with Mahesh. thereafter Mahesh shown gold coins to the victims and while selling to them, on credible information Jeedimetla PS and SOT Balanagar zone team nabbed the three persons red handedly.

The accused A1.Yashala Kameshwara rao @ Vollakanti Raja Mahesh is involved in various cheating cases.
