കനത്ത മഴയോട് കൂടി ചെങ്ങന്നൂരിന്റെവിധിയെഴുത്ത് ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തില്‍ പത്തൊന്‍പത് ശതമാനം പോളിംഗ് .രാവിലെ ഏഴു മുതൽ വൈകിട്ട് ആറു വരെയാണ് വോട്ടെടുപ്പ്. ആകെ 17 സ്ഥാനാർഥികൾ. പുറമേ നോട്ടയും. 164 വോട്ടെടുവോട്ടെടുപ്പു കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും 17 സഹായ ബൂത്തുകളും സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഓരോ ബൂത്തിലും രണ്ടു വോട്ടിങ് യന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ വീതം ഉണ്ടാകും.ഗ്രീന്‍ പ്രോട്ടോക്കോള്‍ പാലിച്ചാണ് വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് നടക്കുന്നത് .വി വി പാററ് സംവിധാനത്തിലാണ് വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് നടക്കുന്നത്.

राजधानी के मलका गंज रोड पर दिल्ली सरकार के खिलाफ ब्लॉक मलका गंज कांग्रेस कमेटी द्वारा मटका फोड़ प्रदर्शन का आयोजन किया गया इसमें स्थानीय लोगों ने धरने का पूर्ण समर्थन किया क्षेत्र की rwa समाजसेवी लोगों ने भी इस धरने में हिस्सा लिया धरने में ब्लॉक मलका गंज कांग्रेस पार्टी के अध्यक्ष नेत्रपाल आर्य की अध्यक्षता में यह धारणा हुआ पुर्व निगम पार्षद अनिल शर्मा ने जोरदार दिल्ली सरकार के खिलाफ पीने के पानी के लिए आवाज उठाई धरने में दिल्ली भागीदारी के अध्यक्ष अशोक भसीन ने बताया आज दिल्ली शहर में टैंकर माफिया ने कब्जा कर रखा है और टैंकर₹4000 में बिक रहा है धरने में दिनेश ,भूप सिंह जाटव , विजय गौतम, राजेंद्र प्रसाद रामकुमार, रामचंद्र ,छोटेलाल प्रजापति ,लक्ष्मण दास, प्रवीण कुमार , भी इस धरने में शामिल हुए विकास rwa मुकिमपुरा के प्रधान कैलाश प्रधान ने बताया कि दिल्ली शहर में पानी की बहुत कमी है कई बार विधायक ,एमपी को भी अवगत करा चुके हैं परंतु कोई समाधान नहीं हुआ दिल्ली शहर के 280 वॉर्ड में जगह जगह पर मटका फोड़ को प्रदर्शन किया गया।
