कासगंज, जनपद के अमापुर कोतवाली इलाके के महदंव गांव में अज्ञात चोरों ने देर रात 4 घरों में चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दिया है। ग्राम प्रधान के मुताबिक लगभग आधा दर्जन चोर देर रात गांव में घुसे हैं और उन्होंने अलग-अलग घरों को निशाना बनाया है। चोरी का शिकार हुए घरों में से घर के अंदर रखे हुए बक्सों के और अलमारियों के ताले तोड़कर सामान चोरी किया है । पीड़ितों के मुताबिक प्रत्येक घर में से सोने चांदी के जेवर और नकदी की चोरी हुई है । पीड़ितों के मुताबिक घर में रखे महिलाओं के जेवर मंगलसूत्र पायल अंगूठी चेन कमरबंद समेत कई अन्य आभूषण घर का सामान और घरों में रखी नकदी भी चोर चुरा कर ले गए हैं। चोरी की घटना को अंजाम देते वक्त चोरों ने घर के कमरे में सो रहे लोगों को बाहर से कुंडी लगाकर बंद कर दिया और अन्य कमरों में रखे बक्सों और अलमारियों के ताले तोड़ सामान निकल कर ले गए । चोरी की घटना की सूचना ग्राम प्रधान ने पुलिस को दी, मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस मामले की जांच पड़ताल कर रही है । पुलिस के मुताबिक चोरी में कितना सामान गया है, अभी इसका अनुमान नहीं है तहरीर के आधार पर मुकदमा दर्ज किया जाएगा ।
