I look back and recall with pride the moments that I have seen the flag at the Republic Day parade, at the beating retreat, at the flag hoisting and I do believe that it has played a critical role in bringing me back to India to work here despite of the many opportunities that presented themselves abroad. I believe that it is important that everyone of our citizens, young and old, make sure that we rise to this call of #HarGharTiranga and unfurl the flag now for our 75 years as India. I do believe many milestones were achieved, particularly the Swatch Bharat Mission in the decade of last 10 years where India achieved its sanitation - one of the biggest behavioural change exercises in the world and provision of infrastructure where toilets or treatment of sewage, etc were very critical milestones. And another critical milestone to celebrate is what we have achieved in women empowerment, many of us women in the business; many women in self-help groups. Of course, lot more is to be done but significant milestones are in.
