यूपी के कौशाम्बी जिले में नगर पालिका परिषद भरवारी में नगर निकाय चुनाव की प्रक्रिया शासन के आदेश पर शुरू हो गई है,नगर पालिका चुनाव को सकुशल सम्पन्न कराने के लिए ईओ गिरीश चंद्र ने शुक्रवार को सहायक अध्यापकों व आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों की बैठक बुलाई थी।
बैठक में नगर पालिका भरवारी क्षेत्र के प्राथमिक विद्यालयों के 44 सहायक अध्यापकों व 40 आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों को BLO ड्यूटी के लिए बुलाया गया था। पर बैठक में सम्मिलित होने के बाद आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों ने BLO की ड्यूटी न करने का विरोध करते हुए मीटिंग का बहिष्कार कर हंगामा किया था,और मुख्य सचिव के एक पत्र का हवाला देते हुए बीएलओ ड्यूटी न करने की बात कही थी।
जिसके बाद शनिवार को SDM विनय गुप्ता और अधिशाषी अधिकारी गिरीश चंद्र ने अध्यापकों एवम आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों से वार्ता की।जिसके बाद सभी आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों ने BLO का कार्य करने की सहमति जताई। SDM विनय गुप्ता ने कहा की उन लोगो की वेतन को लेकर कुछ समस्याएं थी जिन्हे कार्यवाई के लिए आगे भेज दिया गया है,जिसके बाद सभी आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों ने बात मान ली है उन्होंने कहा की आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकत्रियों के साथ नगर पालिका के कर्मचारियों द्वारा भी सहयोग दिलाया जायेगा।
