The Chandigarh-Manali National Highway was restored for traffic near Mile 6 after about 22 hours. The highway was closed at around 5 pm last evening due to a massive landslide near 6 Mile. Due to heavy rain yesterday, the work of debris removal could not be done, due to which the contractors of KMC company with 4 excavators, 1 breaker and two JCB machines got involved in the work of debris removal from 5 am today.
