Lil Wayne is writing a book. Not just any book, a memoir. And no, it wont be one of those 'silly' memoirs filled with goofy stories about the time the dog ate the Christmas ham, Lil Wayne is writing a memoir about his time in prison.

In case you forgot, Lil Wayne spent 8 months on Rikers Island jail in 2010 for possession of a weapon and marijuana.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grand Central Publishing will release 'Gone Till November' which will feature all his diary entries he wrote while serving hard time.

'He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story. They are revealing,' says his publisher.

But will they really be that revealing? Because of Wayne's 'celebrity status' he was kept separate from all the other prisoners.

When Lil wyane was in prison, he wrote letters to fans who posted it on a website called 'Weezy Thankx You.' .
