ఈ సందర్భంగా గవర్నర్ మాట్లాడుతూ తమ దాతృత్వం సద్వినియోగం అవుతుందన్న నమ్మకం కలిగిస్తే వ్యధాన్యులు ఎందరో సహకరించేందుకు ముందుకు వస్తారని సూచించారు.

రెడ్ క్రాస్ రాష్ట్ర శాఖ ఛైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ ఎ. శ్రీధర్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ విభిన్న సంస్థల నుండి సహాయం అందుతుందని ఈ క్రమంలో అమెరికన్ అసోసియేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఫిజిషియన్స్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియన్ ఆరిజిన్ నుండి 300 ఆక్సిజన్ కాన్సంట్రేటర్లు, నార్త్ అమెరికన్ తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్ నుండి 85 ఆక్సిజన్ కాన్సంట్రేటర్లు, 1400 పల్స్ ఆక్సి మీటర్లు, 20,000 మెడిసిన్ కిట్లు, తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్ ఆఫ్ నార్త్ అమెరికా నుండి, 100 ఆక్సిజన్ కాన్సంట్రేటర్లు, తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్ ఆఫ్ మలేషియా నుండి 5,000 మెడిసిన్ కిట్లు సమకూరాయన్నారు.
మరోవైపు ఒంటరిగా ఉన్న కరోనా రోగులకు సలహా ఇవ్వడానికి రెడ్‌క్రాస్‌కు ఉచిత హెల్ప్‌లైన్ ఏర్పాటు చేసిందని డాక్టర్ శ్రీధర్ రెడ్డి గవర్నర్ కు వివరించారు.
సింగపూర్ రెడ్‌క్రాస్ సొసైటీతో పాటు రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలకు అవసరమైన సమయంలో సహాయం అందించిన వివిధ ఎన్నారై అసోసియేషన్లు, కరోనా రోగులకు సహాయం అందించిన వాలంటీర్లకు గవర్నర్ హరిచందన్ ఈ సందర్భంగా కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

दिल्ली में ऑक्सीजन की कमी से लगातार 300 से ज्यादा लोग अपना दम तोड़ रहे हैं।
ऐसे कठिन समय में भी दिल्ली के कुछ रेस्त्रां जीवन रक्षक चीजों की कालाबाजारी करने से बाज नहीं आ रहे हैं।
शुक्रवार को भी खान मार्किट के मशहूर खान चाचा रेस्टोरेंट से 96 ऑक्सीजन कंसंट्रेटर बरामद हुए ।
खान मार्किट की एक अन्य दुकान से भी 9 ऑक्सीजन कंसंट्रेटर बरामद हुए हैं।
अब तक दिल्ली पुलिस की छापेमारी में 524 ऑक्सीजन कंसंट्रेटर बरामद हो चुके हैं।
इस मामले में पुलिस को नवनीत कालरा नाम के एक बड़े बिजनेस मैन की तलाश है।
दो दिन पहले साउथ दिल्ली के रेस्टोरेंट-बार से 419 ऑक्सीजन कंसंट्रेटर बरामद हुए थे।

The latest to join the bandwagon in Chennai Super Kings as they have decided to show solidarity with the people of India by donating 450 Oxygen concentrators. On Saturday, the Director of Chennai Super Kings Cricket Ltd (CSKCL), N Srinivasan met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru MK Stalin, and presented him with an oxygen concentrator.
Kohli’s India and Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Yuzvendra Chahal has stepped ahead and made a contribution of INR 95,000 for this relief fund. The leg-spinner from Haryana has been one of Kohli’s close mates since he appeared for the RCB team for the first time in the 2014 season.
Both Warner and Slater were disappointed with the rumours around them. Brushing the speculations off, they put forth how strong their friendship is and urged people to not believe in anything without a piece of concrete evidence.

A Delhi court on May 17 sent Kalra to 3-day police custody in connection with a case relating to the alleged hoarding of oxygen concentrators in a restaurant in South Delhi. On May 07, Delhi Police had busted an oxygen concentrators black-marketing racket during a raid and recovered 105 such concentrators from two upscale restaurants in the city’s Khan Market area.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced that it will contribute 10-Litre 2000 Oxygen concentrators to boost India’s efforts in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. The nation has been hit by an unprecedented second wave of the coronavirus with demands for medical equipment and life-saving oxygen witnessing a major spike.
Over the next few months, the Board will distribute the concentrators across India with the hope that critical medical aid and care will be provided to the needy patients and this initiative will reduce the havoc unleashed by the pandemic.
BCCI top brass give their views
Mr Sourav Ganguly, President, BCCI: “The BCCI acknowledges the stellar role the medical and healthcare community has played and continues to play as we fight this long battle against the virus. They have truly been frontline warriors and have done whatever possible to shield us. The Board has always put health and safety at the top of the chart and remains committed to the cause. The oxygen concentrators will provide immediate relief to those affected and will help in their speedy recovery.”
Mr Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary, BCCI: “We stand shoulder to shoulder in this collective fight against the virus. The BCCI understands the desperate need for medical equipment in this hour of crisis and hopes this effort will help in narrowing the demand-supply gap that has generated across the country. We have all gone through a lot but I am confident that we can stay ahead of the curve now that the vaccination drive is underway. I urge everyone eligible to get vaccinated.”
